Last Year's Program
SHAgala is the major fundraiser for Sacred Heart Academy. Each year, the event raises thousands of dollars that go directly toward operating costs at Sacred Heart Academy. Through out its 120-year history, over $2,200,000 have been generated. The funds raised help keep Catholic education in the Mid-Michigan area affordable as well as support instruction and educational services. Organizing SHAgala is a huge project, and it takes dozens of volunteers to have a successful event each year. A variety of committees are in place, and we would love to have you join us. This annual fundraising event involves a dinner, silent/oral auctions, cash drawi4gs as well as dancing and snacks. Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance. Please call the Sacred Heart Administration office at (989)772-1385 if you are interested in purchasing dinner or cash raffle tickets or are interested in helping with SHAgala or you may click on the link above.
The SHAgala gift committee has designated November as donation commitment month. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact the administration office at (989) 772-1385. Delivery of your item will not be required until January, before the event. All gifts are, of course, tax deductible. All of our donors will be acknowledged in our souvenir program and on our website.
Scrap/Stamp for SHAgala
Each year a Scrap/Stamp for SHAgala is planned for sometime in November and/or January. Click here for specific details. It’s normally held in the Parish Hall and begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday night and continues through until midnight on Saturday evening. Food, prizes, and lots of scrapping room are provided.
