2011 Middle School Team
Preparing for State
SHA Science Olympiad teams are busy preparing for state finals to be held at MSU Saturday, April 30th. Competitions go from 8:45-4:00 and are held in the following buildings: North and South Kedzie, Psychology, Natural Science, Business College, Demonstration Hall, Intramural Fields and a few others. The awards ceremony takes place in the Auditorium at 6:30. There are 48 middle school and 48 high school teams competing. Good luck students!!
March 19th update
The Science Olympiad teams traveled to Greenville High School on March 19th to compete in the regional competition. There were 17 high school and 9 middle school teams competing and Sacred Heart finished first in both divisions. The teams have qualified for the state finals, which will occur on Saturday, April 30th at Michigan State University.

The high school Science Olympiad team traveled at the Frankenmuth Invitational on February 12th. The Irish competed against 41 teams, some of them being top teams in the state and the country.

Jan. 15, 2011 Update
The middle school Science Olympiad team traveled to Laingsburg on Saturday, January 15th to compete in a 28-team invitational. Thirty-six students in grades 6-9 competed and the team came home with 17 medals and ribbons in various events.
