Sacred Heart Academy Mission Statement

Sacred Heart Academy, a Catholic school founded in 1889, is committed to the mission of Jesus Christ. With our families and faith community, we provide a balanced curriculum to strengthen mind, body, and spirit so our students can reach their full potential.

From the desk of Mrs. Puhlman…

Sacred Heart Academy is proud of the Catholic Christian atmosphere provided for our students by our staff, parish, and families. We are blessed to be able to weave the teachings of Jesus Christ and strong values into all academic areas of the curriculum. Our students have the opportunity to develop leadership skills in service to others by working with classmates and younger students, and supporting our community through such activities as providing food to the Red Cross, Jump Rope for Heart, the St. Jude Math-a-thon, and Christmas Outreach.

We provide a solid academic foundation with high expectations for all students. We further provide opportunities for children to develop their gifts and talents through arts and humanities courses, including art, music, physical education, computer studies, and foreign language. Opportunities during and after school include science fair, literacy nights, geography bee, and using musical talents to help with liturgy.

Sacred Heart Academy is pleased to be given the opportunity to assist our families in guiding the growth of their children academically, physically, and spiritually in a safe, well-structured environment where they are encouraged to develop as individuals who are prepared to step into the world as leaders of the next generation.
